Overview: Start your journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The road winds through picturesque hills, small villages, and terraced fields, offering views of the Trishuli River. En route, you'll pass through Dhunche, the administrative center of the Rasuwa District. Upon reaching Syabrubesi, you'll spend the night in a local teahouse.

Overview: The trek starts with a gradual ascent along the Langtang Khola (river), crossing several suspension bridges. The trail winds through dense oak and rhododendron forests, offering glimpses of wildlife such as red pandas, monkeys, and various bird species. As you ascend, the landscape becomes more rugged. Reach Lama Hotel, a small settlement with teahouses nestled in the forest.

Overview: Today’s trek takes you through dense forests and follows the river up to Ghodatabela, where the trail opens up into a wide valley. Along the way, you'll have your first views of Langtang Lirung (7227 m). After lunch at Ghodatabela, the trail continues through yak pastures and villages rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake. You’ll reach Langtang Village, once a bustling trade post, now offering teahouse accommodation.

Overview: A shorter trek today leads to Kyanjin Gompa, the spiritual heart of the Langtang Valley. Upon arrival, you can explore the village and visit the famous Kyanjin Monastery and the local cheese factory. Enjoy stunning views of Langtang Lirung and other Himalayan peaks.

Altitude: 5000 m / 16404 ft (Tserko Ri), 3870 m / 12696 ft (Kyanjin Gompa)
Duration: 8-9 hours round trip
Overview: Early in the morning, set out for a challenging hike to Tserko Ri, one of the highest points of the trek. The climb is steep but rewarding, offering panoramic views of Langtang Lirung, Yala Peak, and even Shishapangma in Tibet on clear days. After reaching the summit, return to Kyanjin Gompa for the night. This is an optional acclimatization day for trekkers seeking an extra adventure.
